For the month of November 2007 in Milton, there were a total of 12 sales.

Of interest, 5 of the sales were between $350,000 and $399,000.
There were no sales over 1 million. The highest sale was $885,000.

The average market time for the units which sold was 77 days.  The properties
sold off @ 94% of their original list price and 97% of their adjusted price.

During the month of November 21 propeties came onto the market. Several of these properties were
just relisted with other agents. The total dollar volume that came on the market was about $14 million.

There were 35 price adjustments on properties. The average price reduction was $12,251.56

7 properties went under agreement. This was just over about $3 million in inventory.

There are currently 145 properties on the market.  If you look at the last 3 months of activity, 19 properties went under

I went to get a haircut the other day down at Mackie’s Barbershop and have a coffee @ The Radio Coffeehouse
It was nice to see all the work completed down in the village. I am not here to complain, but
I did want to take issue with one thing.

I pulled the car around the corner from Central Avenue onto Brook Hill Road and
noticed that they put all new parking spaces on Brook Hill Road. It is great that there is
more parking. Now here’s the kicker….I opened the passenger door and it got hung up
on the curb because the road is either not pitched right or the curb is too high.

I have a contractor I work with on properties. The guy does great work. It’s fast….it’s cheap…but…
I have to tell him all the time that if he leaves a mess then that is all that I remember.

That’s how I feel about the curb on Brook Hill Road. The new four way stop, the sidewalks,
and all the brickwork is very nice, but it is the one little thing that I will remember. That curb will
be indelibly etched into my frontal lobe.

If anyone knows anyone in Milton DPW, tell them to call me…I will give them a demo.

The event is held on the East Milton Deck near the East Milton fire station
and post office.
